bloody hell  [smile] I am not worthy [/smile].

Changed 2 wheels over, checked engine fluids and wired in my spare wheel CBA aerial mount I got from Teddywood some while ago.

Was removing the OD earlier and when I looked down onto the seatbox there was red stuff, didn't know what it was so kept working away and then I saw it dripping from my finger.

Somehow managed to cut my finger, deeper than it looks but not too bad, reckon I must have caught it on the inside of the gearbox casing and not felt it as it was freezing outside

I kept working for another 2 hours after :p had to chisel through the seatbox tunnel as I wasn't getting the bolts out!

Whole chassis had collapsed and there was no way I was going to crawl under it just incase it dropped some more

Well if its a fairey it was a free fairey :D gonna clean it up and have a look inside to see how it is condition wise

If you don't mind me asking, what was the problem? My mate has a F reg Defender with a retro fit 300tdi and the brakes are shocking despite our efforts to resolve, new master cylinder, been bled several times, callipers overalled etc...

Finally got all the bits together and completed the timing belt change!

We came across several issues that needed resolving along the way, poor standards of repair left by shoddy workmanship before I took the LRD in to my care.
