Ours is having a rest today as well. :hippie:
Following a rewarding day yesterday. After having an intermittant fault with the indicators over the past 6 weeks (only having Saturday afternoons available:doh:). When sent a replacement relay to find that the body was larger than the original part and would not fit into the housing i had a little headache. One cup of tea later I dived into the box in the garage where I keep useful bits of long demised household items and came out with the loom of an old washing machine. Some spade connectors on one end of three existing 'female' couplings and hey presto the pattern relay was attached-Indicators now perfect:D.
Whilst on a roll I decided to look at the non-functional rear windows after reading the thread on this website on how to repair the cpu.The fix really can be done in less than an hour.
Many thanks to landy zone and the community.:clap2:

changed the bottom radatior hose on TDI300 Disco, parked her with the nose facing up on a steep hill to refill coolant .

got lucky and caught the tiny pinhole leak where the big and small hoses join before the temperature hit the roof.
3 gallons of coolant later and she is running cooler than ever.

the information that is available on this site is awesome, thanks guys. [and girls]

Went out for a jolly yesterday and heard a sickening crunch which was my front valence splitting

So today I have junked the front foglamps and cut down the front bumper, just need to find a decent set of front spots which won't fill up with water and a half sensible steering guard ;)
