Took mine to the mechanic this morning. I think my injectors are playing up, not all the cylinders seem to firing properly. Leaving her there for a week so she can have a good check up before I drive to the UK at the end of the month.

@110: where did you get the pink glitter paint from?

Done me drag link replacement. Got run over by a Nissan Micra in the process. It's a long story. Micra came off worse. :p

Stu

Changed fuel filter and temp sensor, did a bit more on my bush cables then it decided to rain so end of play today ......

My 1997 Defender 110 is down.
Mechanic has worked on the carburators but in vain.
It can start & iddle but once one presses accellerator the engine stops.
There's smoke as well but not rich like before the mech worked on the carbus.
What could be the problem here?

Took her out for a bit of laning, it was cut short though because some fecker had fly tipped in the middle of the track. Some disgusting humans out there :(

Still stripping 90 for rebuild. - doors, roof, wings, seatbox, floors, grill, transmission tunnel, off today! Think I might be looking for a replacement rear tub though.

Probably same answer as posted in your other thread that mentions the problem.
