Started fitting the raptor dash today.

The instructions say its a 20 minute job. Is it balls!:eek::frusty:

I have the bigger trunking behind the dash so had to cut the new dash. Its also a complete ball ache trying to cut the original dash with a junior hacksaw, Its even worse when the handle snaps and you have to use it by hand!:frusty:

Oh well, back for more tomorrow!

Nothing, as the new turret rings, coil spring compressors, hd steering rods and ball joints or the g/box mounts didn't bloody turn up!

why are you buying coil spring compressors?
not needed for any job on a landy and dangerous in use.

To compress my...coil springs....I'll take my chances as to how dangerous... I've only been a mechanic for the past 14 years on everything from tanks to recovery trucks still got all 6 fingers on each hand

We had the same problem, if you want to bodge it then 30 minutes, we took 2 hours to get it all done, and then you have the problem of wiring everything in :D All this took a while
