Oil & filters renewed. Fitted a new rear step. Removed wading bung from bellhousing. Investigated a loud knock coming from about midway along the tub on the nearside. I suspect it's the big rubber bushes on the tie rod between the rear axle and chassis.
Thought about fitting my new snorkel, but decided to wait until I'm on holiday next week. Gave her a hug 'coz I love her more every time I go for a drive in her.

polished the outside and gave the inside a good clean too.

fitted a modern head unit, the hamster in the original had past its sell by date
also updated speakers with modern components as old ones crackling

writing down on paper and marking what needs changing on service.

Hoovered out inside as the mrs gave the kids bloody cake in the back. Grrr.
Bouht a set of bull bars

finally gritted teeth and attempted to fix the wiring that was butchered by a previous owner behind the clocks, i now have working hazards and replaced the rotten headlight relays so no more lighting issues ,woo hoo! .

Took the immobiliser apart, soldered a couple of wires into it and connected them to the maplin central locking kit, now got remote locking on a defender :) Also changed the horrible plastic bush on the end of the gear selector and i dont have to wave the gearstick around now when changing gear so much.

Changed the oil in the front and rear diffs and swivels.
Wired up the towbar electrics
Fitted towbar/drop plate and rear towbar mounted step.
Adjusted tappets.

Yesterday i replaced the rear hinge pins and balls ect, Fitted the upper dash back in, Tried to lift the drivers door a lil bit untill i get round to changing out the hinges, Fitted two rear inward facing seats, Coated the load bay floor in roofing flash then trimmed up some 8mm rubber to fit the load bay .

took the roof rack off the 110 and gave it a well needed pressure wash underneath, and a good proper hand wash looks mint now :D.
Then ambled over to a certain lz members place to get some new key fobs programed into the 110 (shame the 1 i got from fleabay last year is the wrong ****in 1)
