Adjusted the hinges on the rear door of the disco so it shuts without having to slam it and stripped the dash and heater outta the scrapper disco.

how are they adjusted, out of interest? I could do with doing that to mine!

is it obvious when you look at the hinges? (not paid them any attention yet)...

My method was open the door so it points straight out to the rear, slacken off the three bolts on the top hinge to the pillar on the body, get someone to lift the bottom of the door at the handle end (or a jack and length of wood) then tighten bolts. then remove blanking plug on door frame next to door card and remove (or pop off corner of) door card and slacken these two bolts, repeat the door lifting method and tighten these bolts up then replace what you removed. This should move the top of the door more onto the door seal and lift the latch up.

Gave my Tdi another oil and filter change.
While it was up on the ramp, I investigated the rattle I'd been hearing that developed a couple of days ago. Found my exhaust system in dire state so patched up the rear mount. Have now ordered a complete new exhaust system with a straight through down pipe (de-cat) as the rest was pretty bad as well. Will install it in a couple of weeks when it's arrived and I'm back home again. Ah well, more money in the money pit, but I love my Landy's.

I fitted a reversing camera, was well chuffed that there's a cutout slot on the bottom of the rear bumper (300tdi Discovery) so the camera fitted in neatly between that and the tow bar.
