If so, thank you! i've been trying to get hold of one of these for ages!

is there any more of it though? i.e. what the extra parts are? what the numbers equate to? etc...

The 390HF was 300tdi WITH ABS and the 350HF was 300tdi WITHOUT ABS.

Fixed the loose alt belt and leaking pipe from heater matrix.
Topped up with coolent,reconnected heater controls,cleaned out filter...

Wish my truck looked that good when it was clean.

They should sell mud in a can "just spray it on and let it dry for 2 hours"

replaced sunroof and head liner. Fitted and wired new tow bar. Fixed leak in rear door. Replaced drivers side wing mirror. Fitted new spots.

Just refurbed EAS compressor and valve block with the help of a friend. Had all the bits for ages, kept procrastinating. Incidentally if you order the kit from Rover Renovations be warned they sent all 6mm o rings where the packet said 12 of them should be 8mm so had to reuse the old ones. Took about half a day, now going to refit in the car. Fingers crossed!

Took the Defender for its MOT this morning and it passed with no advisories! Took me by suprise because I know my A frame balljoint's worn, the handbrake barely works and the windscreen wash pump is pathetic. :5bparty:

Priced up a new set of brake pads, gotta love Bures sand.
Thats it as today i have mostly been learning to drive a lorry!

Had ecu re sync . . . again, 2nd time in a week

DB,it's a good job that you look after the machines you work on better than the machines you own,innit.

Put timing belt case back on 300tdi, removed oil filter and drained oil. The stuff that came out couldn't be called oil as it didnt flow out it glooped out slowly. I know it was cold but it was like treacle and black as coal so I took the sump off to have a look.
What was in there was thick and black with the consistency of cold custard.
i think I will be flushing the engine out before I run in in the 90.

i bent the front bumper back and screwed the endcaps back on my disco 1 as they 'fell off' when i went to oxley shaw at the weekend

finally got round to changing my themostat while waiting for central networks to turn up to say ''Oh we aint got the kit to do that'' and fookin off again :doh: but now I have heat.......yes REAL heat.....ok not alot of it but heat nevertheless....oh and shovelled out the back, forgot I had chequerplate on the floor......

I removed the driver's side step from the Disco... the back snapped as I stepped on it having come out of work!

Time for them both to go, really... but not before the rock sliders! Still need one on there at least!

nope - i'm not as fat as you are imagining, probably! I'm one of those lucky people who doesn't tend to put weight on regardless of what I eat

Keep bashing them at pay & play days... it was on it's last legs anyway, that step.
