Sounds encouraging. The bit about using the right shims to get the tension right worries me a little, but I might give it a go. :eek:)

With new swivel pins and railko bushes you are best to put all the shims on to start with and then check the pre-load using a cheap set of fishing scales. Pre-load should be around 8 - 10lbs. If it is too loose simply remove a few shims until you get the load right. It's all explained on here if you get stuck ;)
 
Fitted a kill switch after some dodgy bloke in a transit pick up turned up asking if I want to sell it. Now when its turned off the engine just turns over without firing, sounds like it has no fuel.

Gonna invest in some other bit when Ive got some cash too.
 
removed front carpet to see why its like a swimming pool, have a nice 4inch split on each side, so water has been flooding in. will hold of with welding till it next rains and i can double check

There is a central locking kit with alarm for 2 doors on flea bay for £30 and a gps tracking thing for just under 60 on amazon. They are next on the list for me. Then I might look at a fuel starving valve. fooking pikeys thinking they can nick me stoof!
 
Oil and filter change - now the oil pressure gauge reads 35psi on idle :)
Fitted new windscreen wipers
Fitted a bracket for the tow bar electric plug
Fitted my waterproof winch cover
Adjusted the washer jets
