Took one of the P38's back for the MoT re-test, one car down 2 to go

Bought it a shiny clutch claw

Made a quick release tow bar

Remembered after a week without the beast , just how bastid freezing it is with the door that doesn't close

fitted a thermostate, and washed all the mud off from sundays laning

Parts have arrived from LRseries. & Booked it into the garage. going in on Wednesday morning.. gonna be busy this weekend and next getting everything sorted ready for chippy run.

bought it some wheel bearings, ho hum something to do on sunday then

Took me all day to wire it all up and get it fitted.
All the gauges work properly except the 2nd volt gauge - but thats for when i fit the 2nd battery and split charge.

bought meself a new set of boots for disco 35/12.5/15 only little ones

fitted a new rocker cover gasket and stopped the oil leaking from the vacc pump housing now got to find out where the water is going to(expansion tank sounds like a kettle) also how do I slow tick over down its a P38 diesel runs perfect but ticks over at around 750-800

Fitted a new filler cap as the old one was stiff to open and only had 1 key.

Someone's been busy.

Fitted new temp gauge which seems to work ok. Started doing spot spraying on the Landy. So be honest I can't be arse with a smart job. Just want it same colour......ish. I am thinking that I might ask next door to where I work for off cuts of vehicle vinyls and eventually turn the whole think urban combat colours.

Checked battery 44% no bad cells , alternator spurting 14.4,so a good charge
To many short journeys I guess with heaters full blast and lights on

changed rear springs and dampers to heavy duty super gaz one i think, nice and yellow new poly bump stops , gonna crack on with front springs and dampers tomorrow, if got time going to put braided brake lines on aswell

alot of nothing, tube cutter gave up the ghost, rebuilt, ajusted and repaired. Cut sum tube, welded it up an realised i got the angle wrong..... Day waisted lol...... Facepalm
