What have you done to your Landie today.

Burned off the rear spring shackles and cut off the spring hangers and a bit more of the rotten chassis where the spring hangers fix to. Welded new box sections into the holes. Have new spring hangers to weld on tomoz.

Put all the bits of Lead flashings etc & Ally guttering and down pipe offcuts (that I've been picking up whilst clearing the building site I'm working on) and carted to the scrap yard £24 for the ally and £52 for the Lead :D :D

Today I have ripped the crappy old wiring loom (with lots of joints/bodges) out of my series with 300TDI engine.

Used 7 core trailer cable using standard trailer colour coding for ease of reference from switchs to back lights

Got most of the wiring for the lights sorted and a lot of other wires prepped ready for completion tommorow.

Looks tidier already.

Will use the best bits of the coloured wiring in the engine bay if I can.

Fixed the washer motor and put the new tax disc on it :biggrin1:

Refitted all the rear interior and seats after my boot floor overhaul, fitted powder coated chequer plate rear door card (very nice), replaced spot light wiring insulation tape with cable ties much neater, and removed rear wheels and brake calipers ready for new discs and pads tomorrow. And on top of that weighed loads of scrap copper in this morning so very happy tonight (always feels like free money! Lol)

Wired in via a relay and spots now work beautifully!!

Bugger of a job to get the switch wires through the bulkhead as they were 0.75 and very bendy!

Job done, and am now a very happy bunny!! :D:D
