Finally got my Rangie back onto LPG! After doing an engine upgrade\swap, upgrading the Vapouriser and fitting a Blos LPG Carb, I couldn't get it to work due to an electrical issue. Sorted the issue the night before last, adjusted the vapouriser and Blos yesterday and now, approx 3k miles later, she drives well on LPG again.

Will make a massive difference to my fuel bills as on petrol she's only averaging 11.1 mpg (which I think is due to the engine running at too low temp).

Started to line the load bed with 12mm ply and rubber so dogs can get bogging and I can just brush/hose it out... There'll be storage on one side so all the gubbins you need to keep a 110 going day to day can live in it without making the 110 look like a tip...

driven it to john richards with minutes to spare for a brake light switch, only had card so had to spend minimum of £10. bought some engine oil aswell to make up cost. card declined twice.... :/

nipped to mates to borrow some dosh. nipped back picked up switch and oil. fitted switch and oil. had a look at the dim O/S headlight, wish id never delved into the wiring. its a COMPLETE state! all sorts of loose ends that do allsorts. i plugged one wire in and the sidelight switched off and indicator switches on solid???

but all lights work as they should, i suspect i will have to strip out all of the funny wires and de mash the loom. more effort for a vehicle which was supposed to be a sorted temporary drive whilst i rebuild my proper land rover!

big thanks to pete for saving me (PCA42)

And thanks to Langers and the big blue 110 for pull starting you ;)

Took mine out at 03:00 in a blizzard to collect my son from a disco in the middle of the French countryside. Its so reassuring in the Defender, you know your going to get there and back without any worries.

Cleaned the tub out, removed all remnants of damn gaffer tape ready to seal holes with glass fibre putty when it warms up a little tomorow. Water spurts in when I go through large puddles!

Ordered new screen and rubbers.

Wired the heater through a carling switch and then went for a bomb to make sure it worked ok:D:D:D

Next is to remove the LHS slider control and permanently open the flap.
