i spent over an hour washing the outside of it (can't be bothered with the interior!), and applied a fresh coating of Rain-X to the windscreen, rear window and front side windows again! :D

Also topped up fluids... (well... just washer fluid actually).

Is that rain x stuff any good?

Today, I put back on the summer alloys, washed the beast (1st time since October ) and then replaced 3 of the 4 DVD screens and managed to get the whole visual/audio system working for the first time :)

Celebrating my day of toil with a nice cold Stella now.:D

Stripped the rear door lock down in order to replace the barrel - only to discover that there is something wrong with the inside locking catch. I'll try renewing the small spring before buying new.

Stopped fiddling as the sun decided to play and and seek; I'm now enjoying a beverage....

I think it's fantastic... the water tends to bobble up and make it's way off the side if the windscreen if you're going above 50mph or so.

Even if you're not driving fast enough, the fact that it bobbles up instead of "smearing" itself over the windscreen means you can still drive without any wipers quite easily.

Anyway, buy some for £7 and do half your windscreen - £7 ain't a lot to lose :)

Put on a MUD Uk rear door trim and far too many decals:
