Presure washed the underside of mine went and brought some bits clips and top bit the air line goes in on the airbags and now waiting for my mate to turn up to do the job

more fooking sanding in prep for paint next week. think its there now tho!

Finally got time to to fit my new winch and bumper. £195 for winch and £180 for bumper both new. I know the winch is a bit mickey mouse but it suits my needs. All i have to do now is put on the synthetic rope and wire up via a split charger and then it's all sorted.
The four nuts in the chassis rails are a bit fiddly, I cut a spanner down dropped in the nut put a bit of gaffer tape on so the nut stayed put, worked a treat.

fitted a new heater matrix in the defender and now have heat inside

went to N Wales laning and all the lil probs have now came out the woodwork lol
so work starts nx week

fitted a new sidelight bulb (one was dead), and a pair of new +90% headlight bulbs!! much better than the standard ones I had in there - my headlights compare roughly to most other vehicles now!

Bought mine some new boots (Insa Dakar's) and a battery. Next door neighbours happy now, won't have to wake him up for a jump start in the mornings.

Stuck a brand new tractor battery in the old girl today, took a bit of levering but it just fit.

New fuse for blower, lucky me.

discos new rear body cross member is being made, but mate had to take his gf to court ggrgrr so it sits wiith no back end on and no door

so i renewed my rear prop as it was dying

Fitted my replacement CB after the last one was nicked. Second hand Midlands off a mate.
Also tiger sealed my washer jets to the bottle in a despirate attempt to stop them leaking. Can see them failing soon just to spite me.

Well removed the front sunroof on my early disco.
Fitted a new seal for the glass and clened up and refitted.
Plenty of new sealant between body and roof so should now be leak free.
Got the back one to do now.

Was straight forward since it has no interior in at the moment.

Swapped a slabs ecu and did the d1 cdl mod what a pita but worth every second of it

Got me new Pads in now, thank goodness already for tomoz
