What have you done to your Landie today.

Cut the Cat out my exhaust and welded in a bit of pipe and put it back on.
Made feck all difference but now have a big Cat to sell.

fitted my de-cat and middle box replacement pipes, sounds fking ace

got wound up by the electrics having a special moment and ended up doing this yesterday, great timing on behalf of the 90, motorbike to work in this weather isnt fun :-(



think it was payback/ karma for doing this at the weekend

gunna take mine out to get xmas stuff and do a tip run.

just got my holiday pay and it will be all gone by tomorrow

Took her to work in the rain, listening to the drip drip drip in the rear corner, still cant find the source.

bled me brakes - quite a novel experience this stopping when you press the pedal and not half a mile down the road! magnecor leads and new centre box on the exhaust gave a nice bit of extra oomph so thought I ought to check the anchors.

Was going to order a new center section without silencer of egay but cheapest i could find was £56!
Gonna keep a look out for a straight bit of pipe and make my own lol.

sounds like a plan, dose it make much difference to the sound of a tdi?

Well de-cat didn't but the center silencer is huge so reckon it'll beef up the noise abit.

could u pm me when done as i have a 200 TDI and would like to make it sound better, is it ok for road use/MOT etc?

Yer no worries.
Diesel doesn't require a CAT for MOT as its checked for smoke instead. So removong the silencer wil also have no effect on it.
Loudness comes down to a copper saying its too loud, but tbh i reckon it'll be fine on a Landy.

couldn't resist booting the V8 a bit while the centre was out. sexy as heck that burble but definitely too loud to be legal.

Bunged in some KWeld to try and stop a gasket leak - otherwise the bill will be approx £400!

Wow..not everyone can afford to drive a Ferrari..nice!

went and got parts off my 2nd disco to sell to a mate. need to start looking for bigger wheels/tires, and find out what i need to make my own snorkel

In the same boat matey!

You can buy southdown wing and top fittings on ebay for about £35 and the pipe too for about the same.

lol iv had 1 of them for about a year, its good as i have a 4gig stick so just load it up with tunes and good to go for ages hehe, have a lil sub and amp aswell but only play good tunes, no chav crap

Bin waxoiling antistone chipping and under sealing the N/S of me disco now its all welded back together , all 3m spray on stuff, got a far amount on me self but i think most of it went on the disco, will be doing the O/S next year can't wait :frown:.
