should think those tyres handle like a bitch on acid in this slush :D

They're fine on the snow and slush bit crap on compressed snow and ice.

I spent 3 hours last night towing a renault out of a hedge and then about 3 miles along single track lanes up hill and down dale. I never had a problem with traction but the renault didn't like cambers very much which made things a bit more interesting. I hate towing on ice using only a 2 foot strop.

Fitted new electrics socket to disc tow bar, fixed boot light which was just corroded but now it wont stay in the hole, has something dropped inside??

Fitted new glow plugs today during lunch break, 15 minutes...
I expected at least 1 to pick up on the threads but no probs:)

New heater unit arrived in the post whilst I was out, a job for the w/e :)

I blacked out my rear window, flushed the coolant syaten again, Fitted a fire extinguisher, fitted my centre switch pack, wired up the interior lights, fitted a multi cigarette socket, wired up my cb, centralised my steering wheel and fitted a pin switch to the rear door.

wozza pin switch and wozzit do?

Went to Guy Salmon (land rover agent) today to get a temp sender unit.
not got one
They said according to my chassis number and reg number the correct one is...................dont know:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Fitted some nice cheap diff guards to mine (£12.50 at paddocks)

Stripped the dash out of me mates 90 to find out where the previous owner had fed his spots from... Found the supply to the relay connected to the ignition switch!

Then proceeded to rewire the spots and add the circuit for his lightbar, only to find one of the Wipac lights (*NEW* 4 WIPAC Roof bar spot-work lamps lights on eBay (end time 04-Feb-10 08:52:13 GMT)) had a faulty lamp which was dim and as I was testing the earth completely failed... Opened it up to find not an ordinary H3 lamp, but one with an earth lead crimped to it - no provision for an earth to be fitted to the reflector

Don't buy these lights!

Also fitted him some diff guards and started to fit a steering guard, got to removing the Panhard bracket bolt and the bastard is siezed solid! Running out of light we left it till the morning...
