Okey Dokey, Some do , some do not leave them in. I do leave them in, but take them out after each trip and check for leaks , or just remove and check them when I grease the props . My theory is that I would forget them if I left them out. Not that I like playing in mud and water or anything...LOL.

And driving it to it’s hiding place the front right caliper seized on, the wheel bearing is now caput and the swivel seal let go with muddy water pouring out. Karma
Stripped the brakes when they were cold and inboard caliper pistons are rusted solid, outboard are barely working. New brake pads fitted 6mths ago to pass its MOT apparently - surprisingly effective for half a caliper.....

Enough, no more....

Thought about fitting some jate rings but have noticed the fixing hole is already in use with the tow bar arms... any suggestions @Hicap phill ?

@doriz have you still got some front tie down loops?
Put these on the rear tow bar drop arms.
But I find crawling under a LR to find recovery points a pain. Plus rope etc are right next to the fuel tank. I connect to my drop plate, but don't snatch hard

I was looking at one of them last year, until I realised I my rear winch bumper is the only one it will not fit..

The crossmember is a winch unit, but no winch in place. Not something I find I need generally, but if I find one cheap?? you never know..LOL. So it still has the rear towball and pin fitted.

Mmmmm, putting the timing belt back on and one bolt requires 350Nm....... what does one do?

It's cleaned for classic car day tommorow. Of course I did not get my hands wet....

Finished repairing the front bulkhead

Removed the radiator muff now the weather has improved.

@doriz iv removed the plastic bag weathers warmed up.
