can you please help me??
and i'm sorry i'm lost here, i don't know were could i post that!
thank you very much!

Not today, but last night .. ;)

IT RUNS ...

Bit rough on the first start, indeed the timing was so out it didn't run at first. Reset it, thanks to TC, by eye and it worked, roughly but worked, see the first video .. a bit smoky mostly due to, we think, water still in the Fuel injection pump!!! I didn't get the very first start, which ended up being a series of stops and goes anyway, but this was the first one where neither of us was holding any wires together or bits of tube ..

So, timed it up a bit better, did a few other things and we now have this ...

So relieved and pleased ..

In both the videos it's running without an exhaust, air filter, timing cover etc etc .. but no worries, the oil was OK!!

Lots of bits still to do but really pleased that we resurrected what I knew to be a great engine .. despite it being 3 days under water and over a year stood in the back garden ..

Just need to remove it again, and find the oil leak .. rear crank seal we think .. replace it and finish all the little bits .. ;)

Keyed the cage and put the first coat of black paint on last night. Didn't finish till 12:00 so getting my m8 Sam to do the second coat tonight as I go out for a curry :D

got my hands on a set of 30mm wheel spacers so got them fitted tonight. the torque setting for my D1 wheels is 130nm so I'm guessing it's the same for the spacers or has anyone got any other opinions?

Can't say I use a torque wrench on wheel nuts, just by feel.
But I always use loctite when fitting spacers.

Why use loctite, you don't on the wheel nuts. I tightened them to the same talk of the wheels

Because lots of people have had them come loose. Ok that may be down to numpties who don't know what they're doing fitting them, or even poor quality spacers.
They rarely have to come off and are kind of a permanent fixture so a little locktite doesn't hurt.
Just my opinion, if perhaps a little over cautious.

Not a cheapy spacer ripped past the wheel nuts and wheel came off on top of Welsh hill only just avoiding quite a large drop over the edge.

Spent half hour trying to find the 37" wheel was about half a mile away.
