MOT'd it, changed the rear brake pipes which were an advisory on it's last one (I've only owned it for a cpl of months) and NO advisories this time.

After swapping the Discovery transfer box for old Defender transfer box back with a new cross drilled input gear on the Defender, so happy to have my torque back
On 32" tyres with a disco box was fine, 33" tyres are no good, even with a big intercooler and wound up fuel pump + Turbo it just couldn't hack long hills in 5th

I'm using original L90 v8 filter on low pressure side and after market m3 fuel injection filter on high pressure side as it had moulded outlets suitable for my conversion.

I didn't see the stand or I would have. Didn't stay long to be honest 'cos the heat was killing me and the show seemed pretty small. Was worth it though for the money saved on the winch I bought.

nothing yet. But yesterday evening. I changed the rear shocks, as N/S one was leaking. . Also replaced the hinge pins on the rear door. Top pin had actually sheared off SO it wasn't doing feck all.It's nice to be able to open the door instead of having to prise it open. & the shocks have made a huge difference to handling. No more spine crushing jolting over potholes and no lurching round corners.

Passed her MOT,
Discovered a worn UJ, and thinking, I have a spare ill swap it, itll only take an hour, ended up with 3 hours and involving a welder.
Side note, never weld without a mask on, all I did was stick a blob of weld on the head of the propshaft bolts on the handbrake end (y'know the ones that spin....) and my face is burnt today... that'll teach me
on the plus side, I managed to refasten them with no problems
