Fingers crossed for you here in France where you only have to get it done every two years

After having had such a great time crossing Morocco recently in my Defender I have given it a clean, servicing and polish.

It failed on brake pedal to much travel and front passenger side wheel bearing needed nipping up. Just need to get to the bottom of this ticking noise.

Not too bad, rear drums or disks? may just need adjustments

Mine had a lot of travel. plus pedal kept sinking so fitted new master cylinder and fixed prob

Re-fitted new door top seal on passenger side with tad deck sealant to make up for slight unevenness as just had a tiny leak. Drivers side now finally dry! happy days

I think it's the rear drums on mine going to change the cylinders see what happens.

Maybe just shoes worn, if no sign of leaking fluid.
Easy to adjust up, amazing at how a little adjustment can make on the pedal travel. Good luck

Spent a long time cleaning it after a good night/ early morning of laning

Adjusted the steering lock stops today as my new tyres were rubbing on the radius arms

Yesterday, Fitted my near gearbox, new transfer box seals, master and slave cylinders, greased up the props, fitted the Detroit tru-trac to the front axle with new CV joints and drive-flanges and checked the wheel and swivels bearings and fitted the Detroit locker to the rear Salisbury axle. Must wait until next week until my new intercooler arrives and can replace the cracked one then and should be back to full health then


Looks like I needed the lockers anyway...

This was the diff center that came out or the front axle!



Also fitted a tuning box I got secondhand, new MAF and straight through center section exhaust pipe to my dads Disco 2... Pulls quite nicely now as I fitted a larger intercooler to it a while back so making the most of it now with the chip! Hopefully he might still want more power soon and buy my VNT so I can get the bigger one

fitted my new cb radio yesterday and had it scanning all the way down to mk and back today but didn't pick anyone up

Ordered some new tires for mine. 4 General Grabber AT2's 235x85x16 and sme new door hinges.

Topped up her diffs.

I will get round to changing the gearbox oil ... eventually

Just split my bottom
Collant pipe. It got caught on the steering column, and a bolt ripped a hole in it

Cleaning up springs ready for repaint
