I have 205/80/16 tyres, and according to my GPS my Speedo is now accurate lol

The speedo reads bang on now, the speed it says i'm doing is the speed i'm actually doing

I've only got a handful of sets left from the first batch

This is the after from the same angle, probably not the best angle to get a good idea of the difference though

Put the missus's fl1 td4 back to 4wd, been running "El Mondo" all summer to supposedly save fuel, not 100% sure it makes much difference,

Thanks for that Hippo, second time I've done this as I didn't listen and put cheap bearings in that become quite noisy after just a couple of months so spent £90 on a pair this time instead of £20,

Looks like lots of fun was had there!

went down a byway that was made a lot more interesting by the constant tractors driving down there with trailer full of potatoes. Even they were taking it slow, some serious ruts! Would have been a lot easier if i didnt have all the ****e in my freelander weighing it down and i had a/t tyres on but momentum carried me though all but one time when i bottomed out.

To be fair. Who goes laning with a bootfull of tools and a boiler in the back of there car??

My mrs insists on sitting in the front

Just been out in our storm. Quite disappointing really and not a patch on '87. Bit windy and the rain stings, but now is the peak and it's low tide. The harbour is full, which is shouldn't be usually, and there's still a few boats moored in it. Some underwater already, but none washed up yet like before. No trees down as before (we lost LOTS before) but roads covered in leafs and small branches. Lots of small floods to charge though, but to be honest, I could sleep through it, just like back in '87. Woke up in the morning to do my paper round and thought a bomb had gone off! Weed, trees and boats everywhere including one crashed down through an old biddy's home, luckily through the kitchen parts not the bedrooms.

That is about 4 1/2" more than standard. Mine is about 265mm. (10 1/2")

So, a 40mm lift -about 1 1/2 " so your tyres must be about 6" larger diameter (150mm) than standard, giving you 3" (75mm) increase on the radius.

Unless I have missed something...... :lol:

Maybe they're just very highly inflated - no need for a snork now

Not a clue what mine was originally, my tyres give me a 35mm lift alone, plus the 40mm lift kit, so I get 75mm. I measured my sill gap before fitting the lift, so just guessed it post-lift by adding nearly 2" on

Fitted a stainless steel egr bypass. Looks a lot neater now.

Went to old quarry, played, got muddy, passed a couple of Suzukis, got glared at. Went home satisfied.

went to bell engineering and got my vcu tested and bought a recon unit to fit next week.
