What have you done to your Freelander today

MHM is right. When they start to pressurise the system they will see the pressure going up. If they don't see the pressure go up they will stop and look for a leak, or advise it's leaking.

drove it to Dovedale and went for a long walk, then drove it back via the ford at Tissington

changed the oil in the ird, changed the gearbox oil, de-cat the exhaust and went to install a ronbox vp37 then discovered that in the instructions the wires to the fuel pump are yellow and red/pink but the wires on the module are purple and brown so that has stumped me for now

Had both VIS motors refurbished now fitted, much better.

Had AC re-gassed, much better

finished the vp37 install just need to finish setting it up but between the de-cat and the ronbox its just so much better to drive :biggrin1:

Checked out the dreaded rust behind the tailgate handle, just the middle fixing has rusted, seems I'll need to make up a boiler plate around that and paint it up, all hidden by the handle luckily...

Tightened up a nut holding the heat shield to the ird/gearbox. Tested ma new creeper thing.

I did mine last year. As you say it makes a difference. I recently had to swap the plenum as i had a noisy power valve.

Changed my 3 rear diff mount took around 1.5Hrs not bad considering never done one before.

MoT'd and had the Air Con regassed.

cured my non functioning horn although got to say the wiring schematics for the freelander are poor, finally found the horn relay tucked up and hidden above the horn

Replaced the fuel pump in the rear wheel arch, running much better now lol

new track rod ends fitted and front brake pads

Clean off the biggest bird **** I have ever seen. Rear door and window was just covered must have been one big bird with a severe case of diahorrea.
