Today I have uprated my headlight low beam bulbs to Osram night breaker plus.
£11.49 a pair delivered. Eblag again. Local motor factors £21.50 a pair.
If they re any good I'll do the high beams as well.
Cant be any worse than the h7 tealight candles that were in before.

I've got them fitted in mine, it's pre face lift, so different to yours. I can't the bulbs highly enough though. You won't be disapointed with them.

Picked up the last 25 deck boards out of the 150 I needed for the latest garden project. The best part is i can take the roof bars off for the time being :)

Fitted EGR blanking kit and new silicone intercooler hoses today.
Took me a long time to get the long hose off as the bottom hose clip was right next to a metal plate so I couldn't get a screwdriver onto it.

Fitted an accessory socket in the boot area. Being a facelift, it hasn't got the one in the back of the centre console and although I could have put one there I decided to put it right at the back near the boot light.

Whilst in a wiring mood, I also managed to sort out a weird problem I've been having with my front offside speaker since fitting my pioneer head unit. For a while, it's been dead until I've been driving for a while and then it's crackled into life. Initially this suggested a head unit fault that was temperature related. However, it turned out to be the connector between the original LR wiring loom and the steering wheel control harness. The plug was loose and everything sprung into life when it was squeezed together. I can only think that as it was so close to the giant heatsink own the back of the head unit, it was distorting the plastic of the plug when hot and forcing it to connect. Anyhow, the fix was easy with a cable tie tightened around the plug...

A productive day finished by a good old interior clean/clear out!

Touched up all the stonechips and started to reblacken the exterior plastics. Just about to start the rear canopy.....and then the heavens opened! :(
Oh well, a job for later in the week.

What did you use to re blacken the exterior trim? In the past I've used autoglym bumper gell but it tends to run about if it rains. I've also used a sealant on my plastic trim called autobrite abyss from their hell shine range. However, I'm not sure if this restores back to colour or just protects it from going back to grey.
