What have you done to your Freelander today

but if im flush i use PTFE lubricant made by WD40 its available in a shop called Yorkshire Trading. it give a great shine/black effect

Pre 2002 bumpers were Grey.

mine are defo black, just a bit aged, but a bit of "magic" and them black as a black thing thats turned black.

but then mine is on a 52 plate

So I'd probably get a nice mottled effect if I used it on mine?
Might try it somewhere invisible first.

my vectra had very dark grey trim that was supposed to be black but by using plenty of stuff on a regular basis i got it to shine very black

I changed all the plastic on mine from Grey to black - door handles un all. cost a bleddy fortune, still I was keen then!!

Scuff would be the scratches on a pair of leather shoes or light scratches/mark on paint or plastic bumper.

ok thanks,
I did it on the XMas holidays at the parents so hasn't had time to scuff yet.
All the scratches are older than that

I mean, it's light grey and slightly darker grey really isn't it? Not what you'd actually call Black.
