Radio active anti freeze....... Nice

It's a bit early for Halloween!

i repaired the chassis, made a new fuel cradle and painted most of the underneath with waxonal ,all in all good day

That is so scary - it's made the air filter jump out on to the scuttle!

Thats given me an idea on how to trace coolant leaks.......you could add the contents of a night stick, the type used in fishing into your expansion bottle, take it for a run and see where its glowing

Yer I'm sure. Edd China was looking for leaks out of the rad with the black light...

The one I saw the other day was a Masserati and he was checking the air con rad and had put some flourescent dye in first I've not seen him check the cooling rad but could have missed a program.

It could well have been that one I'm thinking of :S

Just finished changing clutch on my dad's 52plate td4 . Quite involved but not as scary as I thought it would be.
Tomorrow changing oil on my own td4.
It's all go.......

I always thought the LR oats coolant showed up in UV to help find leaks.

not heard of the uv thing but i've experienced seeing dark red indicating loss

Finally got around to putting on the light pods. Brought the kit couple of years ago but then crashed the landy a bit so forgot all about them till recently. I have to say the hardest part was convincing myself to cut holes in the bumper and not all the wiring that was nothing really. But there was no plug for the dimmer switch behind the dash . So going to have to find a blank so I can remove it, it was there when I brought it. Unless I can retro fit it.

front bumper removed to measure for winch fitting, surprised how good the condition of the metal work is for a 14 year old freelander.

Replaced central door lock on drivers door, NEVER AGAIN job looks easy which in fairness it is, but deffo need 3 pairs of hands

Finally got round to fixing the n/s/r electric window by fitting a good used regulator.

Window goes up, window goes down

hi guys just replaced on freelander 1sreg drivers window regulater o/s electic mirror n/s electric mirror more to do so not out of workshop yet ,on my other freelander I have a leak on the abs so got to put new assembly on oh joys of freelanders
