Other What have you done since not touching your range rover today?

Mostly take dogs for walks along the fields...
For us it all seems the same...
We were and are mostly isolated ...
And I love it...

I cut my grass for the first time this year. I ****ing hate gardening.

Spent 4 afternoons trying to cut ours, it was 50cm long in places.

I left it too late last year and the first cut took me a good couple of weekends. Awful stuff. I should buy a goat.

They are worse. They eat weeds and s**t the seeds out ready fertilised, mowing bracken is harder.

@mikieman you still got the little pooch!

I used to have 2 sheep, they kept the grass down a treat until we had a severe drought and I could not get hay to feed them when the grass ran out. They ended up in my freezer.

We love it, 2 acres, the river and no near neighbours, great for self isolation
Property is so cheap in France, could only dream of a place like this in the UK.

You can get those iRobot mowers. Some have a solar docking station, I think. One of my neighbours has a couple. I see them trundle past during the day.

Saw one last year that had fell of its garden and was upside down in their driveway... Literally fell off the garden.. Not so smart hey... Smarty robot
I'd like to see it deal with spring time 30cm grass... Munch munch jam......

I still haven’t gotten to cut my grass yet...
I find it one of life’s little pleasures...
I love cutting the grass.... it became way more fun after getting a zero turn....
Kinda like flying ....

I hope they don’t read this....they don’t know they are little dogs and would be really ****ed at me ... ....

mine will be very upset if he ever realises he is actually a dog not a child

They run constantly so they're always nibbling - except in winter, or maybe they have less charge and move less in the winter. You can program them to avoid areas, apparently. His seem to manage OK. Biggest danger in his lawn / paddock are the hazards left by his dogs.

Never mind mole hills, dog hills!!!

A robot mower would have a job mowing our grass in winter unless it was a submarine version

My neighbour, now deceased, wasted over £2k on one. He had to peg out a wire to set its cutting limit. He was a right tw*t couldn't work out why it kept trundling off into his flower beds, he thought it was the badgers moving the wire at night. . He forked out more money for an electric fence . Dont get mad get even I say.
