Other What have you done since not touching your range rover today?

Thanks for the condolences, have lost several people I knew and there are a couple of others who are close yet. Just wish all these idiots that ignore and travel for no reason would pay heed.

On a lighter note went out to water them plant pots today to find some toe rag had nicked me hose pipe and reel. Got neighbour to look at her cctv and at 5.00 this morning local druggy caught taking them. Hes in for a shock once this is all over and my lads pay him a visit

The rear bumper slots were packed with a waxy under seal and the shells were solid on them. I wish I still had either of them...

That age of VW were solid and that underseal they were using was excellent, plus the grade of steel and paint. Had a Polo of that era and a Passat, neither had a spot of rust.

If you wanted a rust bucket from the late 70's then look no further than the Fiat 124 special T I bought. In the space of 1 winter both front doors vanished before my eyes. The car drove great but ended up like Fred Flintstones car with all the holes in it.

Great car apart from the rust, bought it new, by 3 years old it was close to scrap, loads of fun while it lasted. That's why I bought an MR2 and had it rust treated from new.

I remember the previous missus said" you think more of Liverpool FC than you do of me," my reply of " I think more of Everton than I do of you " went down very well.

Fiats were notorious for it well into the 90s. My ma bought a new Punto (godawful car, btw) in about 96. Thing failed its first MOT on excess corrosion underneath.

Once drove one of them ,everytime I pressed accelerator I pressed brake at same time. Pedals were so close together

Played with the Jag. It isn't the thermostat which is a pity as that was the cheapest part I could throw at it.

Like what you’ve done, jumped on a thread from 2020. I’m poised to tackle my sons 1998 XJ that has decided to flood for no good reason. We suspect it’s lost the spark on route through the immobiliser. What joy.

Spent many unhappy hours under the bludy Transit de-rusting and undersealing it.

I spent most of yesterday riding shotgun in a Kia something Hybrid. Had to goto DMRC to get brain scans. Wasn't the best way I could think of to spend 12 hours. Felt so nice getting back in the ol Rangie to drive the 20 minutes home. But my god did the day wipe me out. Spent all of today recovering with the wife and dog.
This brain injury seems to have aged me so much. Not a fan.
