What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Replaced the holed and very rusty rear exhaust box and tail pipe.
Did it with a friend by the side of the road, cramped but doable, the hardest bit was the rubber hangers.
Sounds much nicer now, V8 burble rather than a farting noise.
Nice and shiny too.

Depending on what time you have available, look into electrolysis. I cleaned lots of bits using that method including swivel housings, hubs, stub axles, brake shields, axle cases, hockey sticks and lots of other bits. I then finished them with phosphoric acid before painting. Electrolysis only takes on rust, not clean metal, so it doesn't affect machined surfaces etc.
 
Doing the nearside now, pulled it all apart in a matter of like 10 mins.. hardest part is cleaning the old grease up.. after my first one, that was just a understanding of what parts to order, what goes where etc.. got everything now.. apart from a CV joint which is on order.. so prepare for the front to be fully done..

Took the cover off and had a look at it again after being away for a week.
Took some measurements for a bed in the back, as well as a few other bits.
Replaced the split pins holding the jerry can storage sections closed with proper pins.
Opened the box with the security wheel nuts that was delivered during the week, and realised i don't have the socket for them, so put them away again until I can spend some more money.
 
After car failure the landie is out…
Started up fine
Spotted 1 dodgy number plate bulb
1 dodgy headlight bulb(it’s as though it has an earth fault glowing orange.. I say relay not energising)started working after a few miles
Dropped off at work so mrs has the joys of a week of use

Replaced both headlight bulbs, still no high beam on left side.
Tried to take the radio battery box out of the back but the bolts are just spinning. I reckon the nuts underneath are free and spinning too, just need to figure out which ones they are.
Bought myself a new ratchet set and a Haynes manual to cheer myself up from the lack of progress.
