Changed the transfer box oil. Renewed pan hard rod bush's, gone back to original type as polly types just do not last in this hard worked position. [ My ninety is driven on rough tracks most day's. ]

Used it for work again. And booked it in for a service and MoT next month. And having the new starter motor fitted, which I’ve had in the garage for two years now...:rolleyes: Being an ex-disco 200Tdi, I decided against removing the manifold as the studs looked like they would shear off so I’ll leave it to my Indy to do. I haven’t had chance to do anything myself for a while either.

Just removed the tints from the rear window with a heat gun, wish I’d not bothered. Going to need a proprietary solvent like petrol to remove the remaining glue  I also removed the gun box and front bumper so they can be flashed over again.

Replaced a head light bulb after wondering why it wobbles at night.(replaced with a standard bulb till new brighter ones arrive)

found the horn will not adjust louder than the mouse with covid.
Will order a new 1 or 2

cleaned the back out of horse course stuff.
May need to put my camper conversion parts into the tub as trying to organise some camping/laning/route planning

Major work then?

I have moped the paintwork with G3 and it’s brought back the respray lustre. Coat of protective wax will help stop it oxidising again. Can’t do anything where the paint has started to bubble. It’ll be garage bound for sometime whilst the major work takes place

The 90 is going for it’s MoT and a service tomorrow. I poked at a bit of rust on the chassis and found a bit of a hole. I’m sure it’s just ventilation or weight-saving...:mad:

Collected the Landy, complete with new MoT. It had a couple of advisories, including a slight leak on the steering box, which has been there for several years without issue and a dodgy fog light switch! And a bit of welding on the front crossmember. But all in, not bad for a 32 year old truck!
