afternoon lads and lasses
well i finally got fed right up of the broken door lock spring on my tailgate causing frustration when coming to open it as it meant climbing in through the rear side door to pull up the locking pin , so i ebayed a set of 5 springs and have fitted the correct spring in what i think is the correct place !!!
all put back together and now i have a tailgate that wont lock which is the complete opposite to what i had when i started !!! the locking pin goes down when i turn the key as it should but pops straight back up again and even does it if i push the pin down !!!!
is the central locking solenoid supposed to hold the pin down ???
truly have no idea what iv'e done wrong , any suggestions ??
regards baz
