What happened to the landy shows

So I've been away from LRs a little while but in the process of sorting a new one and I thought I'd look up the lro show dates for this year.
Could only find a date for Peterborough. Is there no driffield or billing this year?

Spring adventure used to be at Driffield is now at ripely castle on the 17th and 18th of may.

LRO now run i think Peterborough themselves, the rest are all run by LiveNation i think it is. They used to do them all in partnership, but, seemed to have a bit of a fall out so now do one all on their own and let Live Nation run the rest.

Tbh tohugh, I think they've gone down hill, if you go and camp with a group of mates then fair enough, but, to just turn up and walk around on a day, they are a bit drab.

Cheers for the replies, had been searching for driffield 4x4 and lro but kept getting Peterborough coming up.

I haven't been to a show for a couple of years but if things work out this year my new LR will be more toy than tool so will be going to the shows for parts mainly.

I nearly blew the Toyota up at Driffield. Ran hot all the way home because of the mud in the radiator and when I was dismantling stuff under the bonnet to get it out and clean it properly, I found mud in the air intake

Reckon Ripley could be as entertaining ?
