What engine part is this? (V8 110)

Noticed a leak. Just above front diff. Some sort of oil leaking out from electrical contact - marked on pic.
I assume a seal has gone, but no idea what this part is, in order to get a replacement.
Any help appreciated. 1987 110 3.5 V8.

PITA - Replace it with a mechanical [capillary] type gauge..................................
