hello new to all this need help just got a series 3 1972 diesel log says 3300 engine any one no one kind of engine is fitted

also does any one know where I can parts from in Teesside redcar area
would like
front seat and seat belts
and the steering not good very loose

It is polite to introduce yourself in the intro. section before asking questions.
The engine is probably a Perkins 4/203 diesel. The 203 is the capacity in cubic inches, which is about 3300cc.

I know that theres a restoration type guy in thirsk call john brown landrovers I think, but anywhere like famous four or lr series should be helpful, also im sure someone can point you in the dierection or the parts catalogue:)

Plenty of places do mail order, just check out the ad's in any land rover magazine. As for the steering they are not exactly precise at the best of times!

With swivels and all the other steering parts set up it should steer well. However you have to get used to the Land Rover feel, just look at the springs and all the other moving parts it is never going to be a tight ship.

thanks for you help did not no there was a intro page.never had a land rover before so all new to me its got headlights on the wing so is that series 3 or could it be a 2a 1972 the year

like I say great site thanks for the help
