ER1C, I saw an interesting documentary on C5 about John DeLorean. Interesting input from his son etc. Did I see one on Bangers & Cash too?
Ooo I never saw the C5 one.... there was a recent one on BBC which went down well... I think I saw the Bangers and Cash one...

DeLorean would be a great car to have in the shed .. instantly recognised, massive back story, and historic characters behind it .. What a car . I cont know much about them but I think they are under rated as classics . Its motoring history Marty..

I sold a 2002 TI cabriolet around 88. If I remember right it was red , father and son came to collect it and drove it away .. I thought I was a millionaire when I sold it for £4000 .. wish I still had it ,, Had a serious thing for 2002s back then. peculiarly the best one I owned was a factory bright green 1502 LHD on Bilstein's and slightly lowered .. What a car, that was when BMW were the ultimate driving machine, proper BMW ,

I just got this frame back from the powdercoaters today, spent the evening cleaning up all the threads and building the swingarm up ready to fit. Its just a bit of fun and something to do during lockdown but was the first bike I was ever on, a silver Superdream 250N
Construction of garage #2 is slow but I'm getting there =>
Just impatiently watching paint dry at the moment but I'm sure I'll be able to fill it with more crap soon - so it'll come good (!)

Auld Duffer, I agree about the oldies being 'proper' BMWs. For my money, they lost direction after the E30.
That Ti Cabby must have been a rare beast back then. The red looks good on them, mine is a Bronze colour called Ceylon. I'd have changed it for something brighter but originality rules these days and the club tell me Ceylon is probably the rarest colour for a Targa so it'll be staying.

In the garage is a 1955 Triumph TR2 and a 2012 Honda VFR800X Crossrunner, neither of which are getting enough use.
Outside is my D2, and my Volvo V70 daily driver, my wife's Jaguar XE and my daughter's Skoda Fabia as she has gone back to uni. My son's D90 is usually there too at the moment. And yes I know the Jag image is from a dealership, but it is the same car before we bought it, and the best photo to hand.

LOL its such a shame that one, I think I read somewhere someone rear ended him a little or it just started smoking so he pulled into the parking lot and got out in time. Quite scary and I always have a brown pants moment as if the doors don't open you cant get out easily. #1 was a Fire Extinguisher and #2 was a Glass Hammer.

It is sad when you see a classic car end like that, mine has a 5kg plumbed in fire extingisher for under the bonnet from my rally days, not needed now but its staying put just in case along with two hand helds.

I think garage 1 is most peoples reality, and garage 2 is what most would like, mainly I think due to space rather than money being the problem.
