currently living in a self converted VW crafter while the 530d is about to go up for sale to make way for a disco 2 td5 to fill up my parents driveway

Nah the bike was black and purple. Xr2 was coded with satin black Capri wheels, arches and roll cage, fast road spec. I believe it's still on the road. Would like to build another one day.

Ah I am jealous, well a little bit. In ours there's an old Peugeot 207, an rather new Peugeot 308 (our daily, quite nice actually) and three kayaks, a Klepper folding one and two smaller solid one seaters for the kids.

What an eclectic range of cars! Here's my contribution.......... Sharing the driveway with the P38 we have a 2001 Rav-4 SWB. Marginally the newest car in the household.
In the garage at home - 1973 BMW 2002 Targa. Bought in 1988 and a long term restoration project which has gained a lot of ground during the lockdown. In my 'secret' cosy lockup, a 1959 Ford Pop 100e. Was show standard but needs a freshen up now. The BMW has won my attention at the moment so the Ford may have to be done for the show season 2022.
Since (semi) retirement I've been lucky enough to work with a like minded old friend from schooldays and we've built up a little collection of oddments ranging from show cars to basket cases. I'm embarrassed to say I can't always remember them all, but start with MKII Zodiac, Porsche 924S through to F350 military Crew Cab and a Metro - you get the idea! We've been cut off from them during the pandemic but no worries, there's plenty to do.
