have you seen its definately got a 200tdi fitted in it as being 1989 G it will be a 2.5TD.
Looks good otherwise. I got my 1987 csw with factory 300 engine and box for 2500 which i thought was a bargain. no rust anywhere apart from one bulkhead corner.

Check his feed back.....no pic of engine as mentioned is the engine straight? I would have to view before making a bid and cast eye over docs. Just basic common sense stuff but its nice to know what you are bidding for. Looks tidy and well worth a look

Paddocks list non air con 200 defender as stc229 same as 2.5td and na. £58.63 plus vat.
if yours has spade terminals this is correct. if it has studs with nuts then its a disco alternator.
Nice to see a defender 200 for a change. hard to find for a conversion.

Yes and i would agree just because he says its a 200 it might not be. some people dont know the difference and some are just bastards!!

it has spades 3 on. in like one block. but am thankfully youve said the 2.5 td fits too . ill check flea bay 4 one of them too.

cheers

not sure if its a 45 or a 60 to be honest but i am thinking of gerrin a larger one anyway now ive put 3 internal lights, roof bar, spot lights etc aswell as a leisure bat

in that case you could get an RTC5680 which is a 65amp for air con 200tdi, TD and N/A.
I would imagine it would be the same fitting as the alternator number is the same being A127 only with a higher amperage rating.
Your answer is above! the 65A A127 will be the one you want but will just have to change the connectors.
