Hey guys,

Didn't really think I'd be selling her quite so quickly but had the offer of a lifetime from my wife's dad regarding his one owner TDi Passat estate, so it makes it a no brainer decision. Jonesey has to go!

• MOT April 4th 2014
• Folder full of receipts
• Few spares
• Ok so she's in Alien Vomit Green (Caprice Blue)
• air suspension fixed with replacement height sensor and new pump
• 4.6 V8 engine had both heads skimmed, valve stem oil seals replaced, full top end gaskets set, new everything as it was rebuilt etc
• Both front and rear diffs have been drained and new fluid
• New PAS fluid
• new front track rod arm (entire thing with both ends)
• new door amplifiers
• genuine RR dog guard
• replacement sunroof assembly as the other mechanism broke
• new coil packs
• new rear shockers
• new airbags all round
• 216k miles
• black leather (worn on drivers seat)
• 55 litre LPG kit fitted and working, it has only been run on LPG, not even started on petrol, runs like a dream
• all electrics seem to work with the exception of the book symbol being on the HVAC and the heated seats.

Sometimes there is a slight whine on the PAS when the truck is at stand still or low speeds, but it's so random I can't tell you when it will and won't happen.

The paint has faded on the bonnet and roof but it didn't bother me.

Could do with a front tyre, might put one on before the sale.

Oh, and has a crack in the front screen. £50 on the insurance, again didn't bother me enough to do it before the MOT.

So what do you think people? Parkers puts it at £815 poor or £1705 good. bit of a gap that!

PS Will have original coloured bumper when sold!

or give ebay a shot

Thanks for the info, I was hoping for more than crisps to be honest, maybe a good steak?!
Seriously though. What would be a reasonable asking price? That's all I'm after.

After having done so much to her, I will miss her. I didn't plan on selling her until the shell fell off!
But opportunities like the one we have don't appear often so we're upping at the chance. ;)
