If just tried the torque wrench to see how I'd put it back together.. no chance.. Definitely not happening without lifting the car another for higher and my Jack nor axle stands can deal with that..
I've watched loads of YouTube on it.. i think they are all lying

I find the older you get the longer it takes I did the rear bearing on my disco 3 and when i came to put it back togeather there was a return spring missing on the R /H side handbrake shoes i spent 3 days looking for it and then finally ordered new ones which were promised to be here in 3 days . In the mean time i worked on the other side and adjusted the handbreke and when i walked around the other side there was the spring lying on the floor right under the hub where i and 2 other people had been looking for 4 days the F****** pixies must have got fed up with messing with me when i ordered new ones .Luckey it did turn up because the new ones that were ordered 12 days ago havent. and there were no second hand ones at the breakers.
I have also renewed the splash guard in front of the spare wheel and the gearbox underbody cover which has been missing since i bought it
I have also been toying with the idea of buying a new defender but after changing all the wheel bearings and all the fluids and spending about $2000 on it and then driving it for about 1000 km i decided that it will do just the same job as a new one and maybe spend some more money on it like a bullbar and winch and long range fuel tank with spare on the rear . rather thn spend $100,000 on a new one.
