Last year it was £325
Good god that really is having a laugh then.

Gone are the days where you used to be able to decided if you wanted to keep a car because of repairs and how well it runs these days it really does matter on insurance alone.

For a bit on of perspective sometimes though they’re are good deals out there maybe it’s one of those women only things that’s not supposed to happen I bought my partner a old 04 plate focus 1.6 zetec wasn’t up to much but good enough for her to use while learning to drive and surprisingly quick tbf and when she passed she was only paying £70 a month and that’s with business use on it as she’s a home to home carer I was shocked how cheap it was for a brand new driver. It took me a good few years to get around the £70 mark myself and that’s with me not even using any of mine for commuting.

Worked out of Nuneaton and Anstey for fair few years, worked with some great lads from those ends 👌
Fair play, technically both of my parents are from brum, my mum was sparkhill till she was 10 and my dad was technically Cole’s hill but was born in a Birmingham hospital so it counts lol. Though they don’t really have the accent anymore maybe a little twang on certain words. My dads brother on the other hand who I’ve always known to live in chelmsley wood does have the accent.

At least we can both say we are better than the odd-uns from Cov.

Yeah the cov lads were villains 😆
had an Irish mate lived Chelmsley Wood for donkeys years, never lost his Irish accent 🤔 I'm black country, even worse accent than brum...

I pay 1100 but thats the l322 and the wife's ibiza, both of us covered on both cars. The range rover was only about £80p.a dearer than the Audi. Its up for renewal July but never usually goes up much at all. Aviva, been with them years
Aviva used to be the best for me by a country mile then after I had to claim on the xtrail when I was with they quote me so far above what everyone else does I don’t even think about them anymore.

Been to the Black Country living museum before quite enjoyed it though the on site chip shop was astronomical prices and not that great tasting either in my opinion.

Well just pulled up at home and grabbed my little torch to make a note of where the coolant level is just to be sure to see where it sits at tomorrow after cooling down over night and though i'd look at a couple of other things, still got a bloody coolant leak! notices a little wetness on the edge of the throttle body plate and taste test confirms its definitely coolant!

The amount of times i'd ordered bits for it and looked that buying another plate and gasket just to incase aswell but kept thinking that I didn't much fancy having to potentially loose coolant and fancy taking the intake pipe off just to get at the bolts so I left it since it didn't have any tell tale signs of leakage there and hadn't saw it being wet before.

Typical.

Hahahaha!! I've not used them for a few years.. filled in the online quote form.. for a laugh.. as you do...
Go on, guess..

How much??

No really..

Not wanting to insure just one of the tyres!!

Give up??

£1500!!!!

Hahaha 🤯🫣🤬
Ouch that is high, mind you my new 2020 plate van is double the price of the old van at £1400:eek:
