People forget that horses are horribly inefficient at converting food into pulling power and breathe out CO2 all day and crap everywhere. Old cities were full of horse**** (and smell etc) and tbe combustion engine was seen as a Godsend in cleanliness when introduced.

As you say, we are in a closed system and a limited set of resources. Either some people reduce their consumption of just about everything (standard of living) or we have less people. The various religions haven't grasped this and have been a source of the problem for a long while but everyone is too PC to challenge them properly.

I'm not convinced that was nature. There's worse to come and it is all self-inflicted. Fortunately the UK is in a good position although we'll still feel the effects.

Definitely too many people on the planet. Maybe one of those asteroids will come along & sort it out, so nature can do its thing again !!

Changed the fog light bulbs. Notice only one side has the anti condensation pipes

Passed it's mot with 2 advisories for brake lines.

Nothing this weekend, unless I fit the wind deflectors and/ or side steps, but next weekend taking him to the Lakes for a couple of days B&B as early birthday present for the wife.

Fogs are controlled by the BECM from a non-latching switch. Does it think the bulbs have blown or do they draw enough current to fool it?

The fogs don't draw enough power so that keep sending message to dash center to check fogs for fault.

That makes sense. Same with my LED reversing lights. You can add a resistor but what's the point of wasting the power?! The resistors that come with the headlights are so large they need air cooling heat-sinks on the back. Might as well leave the originals.

Always good to have someone with you to push when needed

Pulled drivers seat (RHD) to find heated seat malfunction.

Finally did my rear bearing, went fine no dramas except it abs ring fell off of the driveshaft .
I have been looking at tdv8s to replace it so its probably sulking with me,

Seems that pulling the seat to fix the heated seat circuit is a real big job this is going to take a few days me thinks.

It took me four hours when I repaired the heater mat. It's a faf but worth it on winter

Hemorrhoid cultivator, never used them after the first time.

well there ya go it's all done and dusted, i now have a (RHD) heated seat whether i use it or not its there. This is not a job for the basic DIYer, its very involved and with great detail, thanks to people on these forums that helped on the way.

Used it too pick up my discovery
