What did you do with your Range Rover today

Fitted 25mm rubber grommet into the bottom of the wheel well. Clever me I think to myself....
When I got home after the other day I had about an inch of water in the bottom sloshing about! B*^*^&^p!!!
Anyone any idea where it gets in from? I'm going to cut a slice into the rubber to make it like the one way valves.
Thought I would give my spare a random check today and I also found a bit of oggin sloshing around and no idea where it came from so bailed it out and will check again after the next rains and see if that's it as I did do a bit of jet washing underneath last week.

As the weather has turned a bit chilly here in Russia this week put the heated seats on for a run into town to find they have failed. All the fuses ok so I guess its just an age thing. Something else on the roundtooit list.

Me neither. I have no wet traces anywhere. There was the remains of an old sealed in plastic bung that I managed to eventually remove. I put rust stopper round the hole inside and underneath and stuck the rubber grommet in. Oh, and I sprayed F365 water protection all over the inside of the wheel well.

@martyuk replaced the elements in his with some that can be turned up or down using a knob he fitted to the side of the seat.

Nothing today. Will be resurrecting my sister's CBR600 FW from an 18 month hibernation for her. Fired it up and 10 seconds later pee'd petrol all over my feet. Guessing stuck carb floats. New battery now installed. Carbs to come off and exhaust checked and hopefully won't need replacing but it sounds like the headers are blowing. I hope the studs aren't siezed....

Got another wheel locking nut key, there is a guy on the bay who sent me pictures of all the disco / sport lock nuts and managed to match the code letter so getting tyres sorted now and didn't have to resort to butchery to get nuts off so happy bunny:)

Probably the base squab element, they tend to break near the seat back. Easy repair, add an extra piece of wire to relieve any tension.

Gave it a bit of a clean up got the grill back to nearer black with a good wipe over with celalose thinners which cleaned off the old polish

First pass with the DA on the used bonnet. It's come up fairly well. filled in the scratches with paint chip repair. Will go back over with the polishing pad before filling them in with lacquer. Pic have been taken for before and after etc.

Took the kids to the airport (Stanstead) on Friday and collected them on Sunday - dead boring, but at least it was a little run out in it.
Even on A/B roads it managed an indicated 19MPG with all the starts/stops and changes of speed thru villages etc.
Will need a wash now, its filthy with road spray dirt. :D

Split my spare heater box and cleaned, sanded and trimmed away the moulding seam on the banana shaped bit under the blue mechanism (LHS on RHD). All the big flaps are moving freely now (oooo er missus) ;)
Does anyone know how to get those two bloody small flaps out of the top without breaking anything?

Finally got round to seeing to my intermittently leaky old injector pump.Replaced (most of) the seals and , touch wood, its looking good.:)
Biketeacherdave's 'how too' was a great help - and its true what he says ' its easier than you think'. Thanks Dave.;)
Seems to be running better than ever (perhaps the QA housing went back on in a fractionally different position? Didn't have a Nanocom to set it up, relied on scoring the housing). It was doing around 24 mpg before and leaking quite a bit on tickover so it'll be interesting to see if that goes up at all.
Did plug it in to a Snap-on thingy which diagnosed 'intermittent signal from LH front ABS sensor' which would be why the three amigos appear now and again.
This was a Britpart one that I fitted a few months ago. False economy! Craddocks said that tho' they specialise in after market parts, they won't sell non OEM sensors coz they're rubbish. I should have listened. Still, at least it'll come out easily...

Happy to be of help, running better is due to the higher fuel pressure now the leaks are cured its basically a fully refurbed unit now good for another 100k miles you mite water to introduce svo as well as I ran my old car for 50k with no issues on it neat same pump and injectors but no harm in the p38 at 50\50 mix.
