No calls are monitored for any training purposes..and we probably wouldn't answer you anyway.

Great, felt I needed a win so would replace the bulbs, because how hard can it be? The number plate lights have been throwing a fault for a while because the long life halfords bulbs weren't. And the LH inboard main hasn't worked for a while. The number plate lights were easy enough. Come to the main annnnnnnd nothing. This is all I need. Hate chasing electrical faults.

Word has it there's a car near yours that could be tapped for spares ...
Once you venture down the path of cannibalism, it isn't long before the car just becomes a parts bin. I don't fancy going down that path.

You have coils,
that day has long passed.
She had coils when I got her. Always been on my "I should really correct this" list. But we have parts wagons at work, and once the parts start coming off you can make as many lists of parts removed as you like. They never get put back together again.

Data and wammers have. Go from parts cars to ‘project cars’ :D
If you are selling it fair enough , if it’s not going as a roadworthy vehicle strip it to save one of them atleast.
Think Grrs idea was you can transpose the parts to find the error, then put back in their original location if you want.

Her's has it's own ABS issues so not worth switching parts. I think the big thing with a spares car is storage, and in my case, transportation every few years.

Good news is I think I found the light fault. Having to borrow a Fluke to confirm, but looks like a small break in a wire just after a plug. Should be an easy fix.

Keep your mind off my jugs please, I'm currently trying to be distraught here ;)

Bix did immediately go "you can't put your plate on the internet! What if someone stalks you!"
Am now taking stalker applications... must bring own battery....
Reminds me of a chap on another forum who said you should never show your plate online.
I did wonder if he removed his plate outside a shop, or when you he left it outside his house!

Make no sense I tell ya!! ;)

Visited my Sister in her new house today, moved in fully yesterday

couldn't go near her obviously!

Parked the old boat in her driveway, unfortunately because the P38 is around 4ft to long for the designated area, while I was speaking her neighbour voiced concern over the fact she didn't like the car there because it stuck out too much into the road..

So i moved it..
