What did you do with your Range Rover today

Push down brake peddle and hold pull out switch plunger then let the peddle come back up and it will set the correct distance, i had abs fault switch cured it, the switch is a two stage switch with two settings so it knows when the brakes are on and off, worth a try may well save you a lot of brain ache.
I feel like I am misunderstanding, or I just need to try driving around the block.

So I depress pedal, the plunger I assume should automatically extend to the fullest, as I can't move it any further with just my hands and gentle force. I then release the pedal and that should set the switch?

Need to get myself some better bolts for the centre box so it hasn't been started yet!!

It fits perfectly though, which is nice..

some new words were invented during the install!
 
Spent some time this afternoon tweaking the fitment, it sits well now and sounds very smart..
Not abnoxious like some who just had the mufflers cut off, it has a nice burble under acceleration, but it isn't intrusive.
When cruising it is very quiet, idling it has a nice v8 throb.

Giving it some welly, or putting it under loads yields a lovely noise! :)

The Holes for the pipes are going to be tided up, but it sits central and doesn't rattle which i'm happy with.

Looks good, just right, I don't think quad pipes look right on a p38, IMO.

I was looking into the Quads from Rimmers, however they look hideous to me..

A mate and myself tried fitting an ebay stainless "quad" item a few months ago to his 4.0SE and after an 5hrs we tossed it in a skip.. :mad:

Couldn't get it sitting right, nor could we get it on the mounts! :confused:

Janspeed fits even better than the factory original :D

Looks better than factory original, I don't like hidden tailpipes, I like to see em, preferably in chrome or stainless.
 
I fixed the rev gauge. I was of the assumption the motor that drives the needle was dead since I got good readings on the BeCM, but while looking up the Abs/TC issue I found that the plug on the right side of the cluster can work loose. I assume when I had the cluster out to change the bulbs I didn't push it all the way home as it almost fell out into my hand, pushed it back 2 hard clicks and I have a fully functional gauge again... because it always helps to know how hard you're revving a race ca- I mean, gently gliding around in a Range Rover.

Other than the fact it fills the dash, why give rpm in a Range Rover? Isn't like it matters.
