Another good day on the driveway yesterday. Great outcome for the faulty electric window and the sticky door handle fixed into the bargain.
Further to my oil change, earlier this week I can never remember which of the 2 listed oil filters is the right one. So several changes ago, I bought both! Lets avoid future confusion by disposing of the one that it isn't........
Does anyone use the metal top filter with the smaller (28mm) centre hole? WIX WL7043. Let me know and I'll pop it in the post for you. Rather it gets used than throw it away! First come, first served I only have one of them.

I did exactly the same thing when I first got mine. Still have the filter lying around somewhere.

IACV fitted a 2nd hand of course.

Idle back to perfect, the old one I disassembled with a hammer and found it the needle roller that the valve sits inside had seized which explains my high idle

Is this something I need to be aware of.? Never dealt with one of these before..

It does what is says on the tin Idle air control valve..

If you have high idle issues when cold, and/or stalling issues this can be to blame, a squirt of contact cleaner inside should do, it should rotate..

No issues with my idling,(fingers crossed). But always looking to do anything that keeps me one step ahead of a possible future problem.. cheers.

Then Shirley the dt one i had would be too big rather than too small?
Il ask him or look up the number off the one I have when I remember
Could be off anything

My memory is as reliable as ever, so until I see it I am unsure. Seeing as I have almost never had to buy one I have no idea on part numbers!
