That is a valid point, when the Classic clutch went in France we had to wait a week for a new one to be couriered out from England. We had the tin tent which was stocked with 30 bottles of whiskey. We were "adopted " by a local couple,ate at the village auberge (spelling?) everyday. Apart from having to lift the transfer box back on my own without a jack it was a very relaxing eight days.Until you run out of food and water.

I've got a spare t/box in the garage and it weighed in at 112lbs in old money. Oh to be six ft and bullet proof again.
112lbs used to be an OK lift, now I'm down to about 35 Kg, good job the sacks of cement are smaller nowI was then Keith, good living has taken its toll.

I have that job to look forward to when I fit the HP24 box I have sitting on the bench. At least I have a pit and transmission jack but from jack to floor will be interesting
your right there Enery, I could lift that engine with my knob when I was alive.I did manage to lift a 2.5DI ford engine a few feet before having to "drop it" and have a rest..
The BW unit in my RRC was a handful on my back, with gravel everywhere!!
I did make the mistake of not lining it up right and having to rest it on me chest
Don't do that
