Wrong prop position. Wrong nipples or UJ fitted wrong way round.
Same on 2 cars, so not prop in wrong position and it doesn't matter where the prop is rotationally over the range where the nipple is accessible. As for it being the wrong nipple, as it is not possible to get the end of the gun near the nipple that is irrelevant. Props are original and have never been off the cars as far as it's possible to determine.

On my P38 all nipples are accessible using the Wanner.
 
Changed the Gearbox oil on both the Dizzie and P38.

The D2 was shifting quite hard and after the change the shifts are brill, which is nice,

Put £30 worth of diesel in to get her to the body shop to get rid of some rust and scratches and how does she repay me, as soon as we get on the motorway bloody "suspension inactive" the ungreatful tart, boy is she gonna get it when she comes home.
Straight on the naughty step. And she knew I'd taken my diagnostics out and left it at home. :)
 
Cleaned up the cam cover/filter and added a bit of zest. :D

....tempted to buy a lift pump but think il cut a hatch and see what I’m dealing with first?

Found old JM post saying knock the old GB plug out and replace with one of these :
