What did you do with your Range Rover today

How good is your battery? That is quite a big variation.
Battery was a thought as it was stood for nearly a year but kept topping up to keep the electrics alive whilst working. But this week I charged it to full and left unconnected, it dropped about 1/4 volt per day over three days.
Would you know why the voltage on the vehicle would RISE after the cycle..?

Replaced the brake light switch that gave the ABS/TC lights. Is everyone else aware that you have NO brake lights when this happens? No, neither was I!

Also have my discovered that my hi - low / low - hi only working at a standstill when cold DOES work when hot but I have to be rolling at around 5 mph.

Then I found that Ashcroft also have that stated on their website that rolling is the easiest way to engage the transfer box. I know my old 110 FFR used to do this (when I was in the Royal Marines), and with a mighty bang, but on a Range Rover?
I can test the dash cog lights with nanocom and it lights up but doesn't light on diagnostic start up with the key or any gear change. The light did come on a year ago hahaha

Weird. Mine changes best at a standstill. Never had any issues, thank goodness.

What was the start voltage and end voltage?

Heard a bad metal on metal noise from the rear. Removed the rear wheel this evening and a brake pad is down to the metal. I've been meaning to check all summer but just not had time to do anything (other than the transfer box). Now paid the price as the disc is well scored. Never mind, I was planning to replace them anyway. Just a pity everywhere is shut tomorrow.

On m8s supercharged......

Front Upper ball joint and rear brakes, inc. h/brake shoes, shoes have plenty meat but are quite badly cracked.
Nice new Brembo stuff.

Fcuk it, it's not my money......:p

Well, taking @wammers advice i took it easy and replaced the front diff, brake discs and pads all round and the steering track control rods just for good measure.took longer than it used to, guess three strokes and 18 months of inactivity has taken its toll,or have things got heavier than I remember?o_O
If it helps, for brake discs I now use engine hoist, front pads takes two of us to lift them, rear pads being half the size I can just about manage by my self. There, feeling better now ? By the way glad to see you managing to get some thing done again and it takes me twice as long doing things now that includes going to the loo plus having to stand a lot closer lol.

Put a 1-piece boot liner in (£51.xx delivered).
I had a recent petrol tank spill from a portable generator that fell over while travelling. Luckily the 8 layers of a folded tarpaulin/groundsheet prevented the petrol getting into the carpet and flooring.
Really nice snug fit, 2" wall/lip all the way round. Non-slip too.
