Recovered the pillars and headlining. Good job I did as well found the sunroof glass only held in by 6 inch of bonding because of rust. All cleaned up repainted and rebonded.

I wonder where you got those figures from? Lack of regular gentle exercise as opposed to work outs or jogging and you will end up needing a zimmer to stay upright when you are old, most likely have high blood pressure at rest and be prone to strokes or heart attacks, fags booze and burgers don't help either.
Oh dear, thats me fecked then, on that last bit.

Not really I'm a joiner by trade and make high end salon furniture for hairdressers and beauty spas. The leather is what we use to upholster the hairdressing, barbers chairs and hair washing units.

I fitted a “chip” to my 2006 Range 2.7 TDV6
Am wondering if I will see any benefit at all? Has anyone else done this?
You should have got a large portion, at least you would have something to eat while you wait for the recovery vehicle, the gearbox is pi $$ poor in standard form, you may have accelerated its demise.;) still asleep, thought it was a TD6 , is the gearbox stronger on the TDV6?

Good question! The GM box is the one that is made from scotch-mist and vapourises with the heat from the engine. I believe the ZF is stronger but not sure how close to its limit it is. @holidaychicken would probably know, or @Saint.V8 , of course.

think its the ZF box in the sport, GM was in the earlier L322 bmw engined 3.0d diesel, chip will be down to the chip fitted, loads of different types but diesels normally show good improvement

Finally bit the bullet and had a new suspension compressor fitted £510. Yeah “normal height only” gone :):) Kept the old one, when I get 5 minutes playtime gonna strip it down see what was wrong. New front pads and oil change next week then she’s ready for winter barring a good wax polishing :D

Collected a good 2nd hand (obviously) 2.4 VM lump as a spare cos it were going for the right price, all bits still on the engine. :)
Was going to say picked it up, but by the hell, thats a heavy old lump.
Also got the g'box, t'box, hand brake etc.
Here's hoping I'll never need any of it, but if I do, well then I'm sorted.:):)

I have the chance of second motor for my p38 diesel, it's in an omega from the same year with alloy manifold, it's for free and will only cost me time to lift it out! It's a nice thought to replace all the bits while it's out on the floor and then drop it in when needed. :D

If you have the space to store it it would be daft not to take up the offer.:)

If the FIP doesn't end 994 then you'll have to swap it for one that does, assuming it comes with all the ancillaries.
