What did you do with your Range Rover today

Parked it up waiting on me having a day to replace the front alternator bearing....swop out my cats or just cut them out completly and decat my car until mot time....and fit a new eas pump that should keep me busy for a few hours

After a couple of days driving, the new clutch master seems to be performing as it should so refitted the underdash panel. Before doing that though I had another go at identifying the part of the loom for the leccy door mirrors, found a connector that has the right number of wires (6) and most of them are the right colour. Looks like I shall have a go at finding somewhere that can sell me a link lead to connect to the switch.
Flushed with success I thought I'd check the wattage of my reversing lights as they are absolute sh1te, struggled to get a bulb out, 21w as standard, tried changing for a fresh bulb but now can't get either to lock into the fitment. :(:(
On a positive note, changed the doris' door lock motor for one I had in stock off an old disco. Central locking now works :):) at least till next week.

About to go out and investigate a rattling noise, rattles on tick over goes quiet when you blip throttle, hopping its crank damper rather than chains
it was dark and raining when I heard the wife pull up, and she couldn't here it:rolleyes: car was the other side of the road and I can.:(

They never can. I think their ears work differently to ours. Same with red lights on the dash, they just cannot see them. However, have a chat with the pretty thing down the end of the street and she can see and hear through 6 hedges and a solid fence. Natural selection of some sort I'm sure.

Drove her! Took her yesterday and got wheel balance checked....... good call to whoever said before it could still be balance at really narrow speed window. Looks like at least one weight had come off. Seemed better today but difficult driving conditions made it hard to properly check. Got to do a motorway drive at weekend, so hopefully will be able to sit at 70mph for long enough to check.
Inspection light has started to show at start up, so that's got to be seen to. However, for now it was just nice to drive her. :)

Nothing :(
Re-decorating my man-cave because SWMBO says 20 years is too long between changes.
I did argue that we've been wed 43 years and she's not been changed out, but It wasn't a good enough argument to leave the room as was apparently.

New cam sensor finally arrived so fitted that and the beast fired up first time and after a 50k run no problems all happy again. Now contemplating wooden blocks or axel stands for when I park up on Monday for 9 months again as dreaded work calls again.

Lift it to wade height, 4 axle stands under chassis legs then set to access height and you'll only have weight of axles resting on tyres then.
