What did you do with your Range Rover today

look boys it's a box of magic connected to 4 sacs of magic with 4 spell height settings using the switch/wand mounted in the dash. That's all you need to know. Oh and you need a 9 3/4mm socket to fix it.
You must have a different model to me mine uses a 9 15/17ths mm socket!

Had a go at refurbing the backs of the front seats in my classic today. They are in pretty good order and relatively clean but time has caused the thin foam backing on the velour material to degrade and they look pants. Pretty much exactly the same problem as the roof lining turning into a bedouin tent.
Mine are held in place with 3 x screws in the bottom and 1 x each side in the top, once on the bench I used a small screwdriver to prise the fixings off the back of the seat pocket, and also to remove all the staples around the edges.
At this stage the fabric pretty well falls off, a good couple of minutes with a scrubbing brush got most of the crud off the fibre/plastic seat back and the back of the velour, then a liberal wetting down with meths and scrubbing with J cloths got the old adhesive off.
After letting dry I glued the velour back on with aerosol contact adhesive and instead of using staples to hold the surplus to the back of the panel I used a hot glue gun. All seemed to work for me so a happy bunny.:):) Almost like new, not bad for a 29 year old. (the rangie that is - not me):p

One thing to point out is that the spray glue I used will allow repositioning if put together straight away, if left for 5 mins acts instantly on contact - recipe for disaster that.

No disrespect wammers, but quite clearly you are arguing basic physics with me. Harshness at high settings could be caused by all manner of things such as different geometry, shocks stiffer at that ride height due to not operating in that area. The simple fact is that unless, either the weight or the CSA changes, the pressure is the same.......... Period.
It really is a bit irrelevant really to the question originally posted but physics don't lie. Clue is in the name. Pounds per square inch. Kg force per square centimetre etc etc.

No not at all. Just stating a fact. The ride is harsher at high mode than it is at standard mode.

I'd love to try the Arnott III bags and then the Dunlops after one another and see how much difference it makes. At a shed load of notes for Gen III though I cannot see many people on here trying them!

So it's been sat in the same spot since friday night
Tiny 570 70 battery

Will it start? :D

Of course it will.
it's made by Land Rover which is bywording for ultimate reliability

Drove it at a vast rate of knots to the local A&E after my foot slipped off my cracker bar while I was trying to get a wheel off one of my mates pickups. The bastard ( bar) rebounded and hit me in the shin cutting me to the bone.

Ouch even dropping a bar on the shin hurts
