Wonder if the ONS birth records show a spike. Amazed me how fast the population recovered after each war, albeit there was a hole in the male population structure for at least one generation of females.

Many men where away but some had been imported and still holes in the females. :D:D

And putting the brakes on ...

Possibly a question for @wammers or Tomcatalan: the cupro-nickel brake pipes. Can you just bend them into shape by hand or would I need to push a wire of something up the inside to maintain the internal dimensions?

What's happened? Yours looked perfect.

union flag on the roof and 22" rims?
The top of my roof looks so bad, the paint has not just faded, you can see the white undercoat, so I was thinking of putting a wrap just on the front of the roof, in black satin (or mat) something along them lines, and doing the same to my rims, how hard can it be? not 100% sure about the rims, I dont know if it would take the brake dust at salts on the road ect

I think spraying the Union flag over the top would be better! :)

I know people do wrap cars but how long does it last? I think I'd maybe paint it myself and then pay to have it put right if it went totally wrong. After all, very little masking for the roof and who but SaintV8 can see it except on a step-ladder?

Now there's the problem, I never wash the roof or wax it, thats why its in the state its in now lol I cant see it.... so it must be fine!!!

Half the time you cannot see my car for mud. Once in a while I feel guilty and give it a scrub and I'm always amazed how good the paint is underneath. Must the unburnt jet-fuel dropping on yours.
